The Society, like every non-profit organization of its type, needs volunteers to make its programs and social events successful. We appreciate any time that you can give and need your help. Here are some of our volunteer opportunities.
Our oral history program is going strong. We can use help with conducting interviews and we always welcome suggestions for people to interview. If you can help or have a suggestion for an interview, please email or call 215 297 5091 and leave a message.
Our extensive archive collection requires loving care to keep it organized. In addition, on Wednesday afternoons we welcome visitors who want to do research on the township, its early families, or its historic houses. If you are interesting in helping, please contact Judy Clarke or call 215 297 5091 and leave a message
The picnic is held in August or September each year and volunteers are always needed. If you would like to help, email or call 215 297 5091 and leave your name and a message.
The meeting is held in November. Volunteers are always needed for set-up, food table organization, tending bar, and clean-up. If you would like to help, email or call 215 297 5091 and leave your name and a message.
New Year’s Brunch
Every January 1 the Society invites everyone in the township to a bunch to welcome in the new year. The Brunch Committee is always looking for volunteers to help plan and run the brunch. If you would like to help, email or call 215 297 5091 and leave your name and a message.
