The Aquetong School, also known as the Beaumont School, is located on Ingham Road near Lower Mountain and Lower York roads. It was built by Andrew Beaumont in 1857 for his and the neighborhood children. The Solebury Township School District took over the operation of the school but did not buy the land until 1905. The school was closed in 1937 with consolidation and sold as a residence.
