The west side of the lake is the location of the house where Kenneth and Gail Judy lived, now called the Judy House. The lawn with its mature and newly planted trees and its wishing well gently slopes to the lake. After the lowering of the north end of the dam in 1996, about eighty feet of wetlands were created on this side of the lake at the edge of the lawn.
